Overview:
Our client is a respected architectural firm with a broad portfolio of projects across Alberta. They are currently seeking a Contract Administrator to join their team on upcoming and ongoing projects. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented architectural professional with a strong understanding of construction documentation and contract administration.
Key Responsibilities:

Administer construction contracts on a variety of building types

Act as the liaison between design teams, consultants, and contractors during construction

Review shop drawings, RFIs, and site reports

Conduct regular site visits and prepare field review documentation
-
Monitor construction progress to ensure compliance with contract documents

Support the resolution of construction-related issues and deficiencies
-
Ensure quality assurance and adherence to project timelines
Qualifications:
-
Diploma or Degree in Architecture or Architectural Technology

Minimum 58 years of relevant experience, ideally in contract administration

Strong knowledge of construction processes, building codes, and architectural detailing

Excellent communication and coordination skills

Experience with civic, healthcare, or institutional projects is an asset

Proficiency in project management tools and contract documentation
