Position Overview:
Our client is seeking an experienced Intermediate Contract Administrator to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing construction contracts, ensuring that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. This role requires the ability to travel to various job sites across the province.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage construction contracts from inception to completion.
- Conduct regular site visits to ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, and standards.
- Coordinate with project teams, contractors, and clients to resolve any issues or discrepancies.
- Review and approve contractor submittals, shop drawings, and change orders.
- Ensure timely and accurate documentation of project progress, including reports, photos, and meeting minutes.
- Monitor project schedules and budgets, ensuring projects are on track.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.
- Provide technical guidance and support to project teams.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in contract administration within the architecture industry.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, codes, and standards.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to travel to various job sites across the province.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
