Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Architect or Project Manager with a strong background in Higher Education projects. The ideal candidate will have direct experience leading or designing projects for colleges or universities and a solid understanding of the planning, design, and delivery processes unique to post-secondary institutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage higher education projects from design through construction.

• Oversee client communications, consultant coordination, and project schedules.

• Provide design leadership and technical oversight to ensure project excellence.

• Collaborate with internal teams to deliver innovative, functional, and sustainable learning environments.

• Ensure compliance with all codes, regulations, and institutional standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Architecture.

• Licensed Architect or eligibility for registration in Canada.

• 8+ years of professional experience, including significant exposure to college or university projects.

• Proven ability to manage complex projects and multidisciplinary teams.

• Strong communication and client management skills.

Please note: Experience limited to K12 projects will not meet the requirements for this role, as our clients focus is on the Canadian higher education sector.
