Location: Southampton, SO14 
Pay Rate: £12.21 per hour
Hours: 24 hours per week Saturday & Sunday, 08:0020:00 (weekday cover available if required)

We are looking for a professional and reliable Security Officer to join our team at a busy student accommodation site in Southampton. This is a key role, ensuring the safety, security, and comfort of all residents, visitors, and staff.

Role Responsibilities:

• Security reception duties, greeting and assisting visitors and students

• Responding to fire and intruder alarm activations

• Conducting regular security patrols and handling any incidents or call-outs

• Reporting maintenance issues promptly

• Completing incident and other security reports as required

What Were Looking For:

• Valid SIA Licence (SG or DS) essential

• Excellent customer service and communication skills (both spoken & written English)

• Ability to work independently (lone working)

• 5-year checkable work history

• Corporate security experience (preferred)
