Role: Security Officer,

Shift Pattern: Days 3 on 3 off 

Pay Rate: £12.50 per hour

Hours: 07:00-19:00

Location: Rye TN31 (Candidate must be within a 40 minute travel)

Our customer is a forward-thinking privately-owned company who are a leading provider of professional integrated bespoke security and facilities management services, giving their clients a flexible and scalable approach to addressing their security and FM requirements in their businesses across an array of sectors including educational settings / student accommodation, healthcare, charitable, corporate / estate management, warehouse / distribution, social housing, utilities, shopping centres / retail parks.

Duties:

• Conduct regular patrols of the industrial park to ensure the security of buildings and assets.
• Monitor CCTV systems and respond to alarms or disturbances in a timely manner.
• Control access to the park by operating the barrier and checking the credentials of visitors and employees.
• Maintain a log of all incidents, visitors, and irregularities that occur during the shift.
• Provide first aid and emergency response if necessary.
• Report any safety hazards or maintenance issues to the appropriate department.
• Ensure all security equipment is functioning correctly at the start and end of each shift.
• Remain vigilant for any suspicious activity and take appropriate action according to protocol.
• Assist in the evacuation of the wharf in case of an emergency.
• Serve as the first point of contact for any inquiries at the entrance of the industrial park.
• Liaise with emergency services in the event of an incident
• Conduct a thorough handover for day shift colleagues

• Security Officers must hold a valid SIA licence
• Due to location Driving licence is preferable
