Our client is a well established family run business located in Corby.  Due to continued growth they are looking to expand their current team and recruit a Tyre Fitter.   

The ideal candidate will be hungry to learn and develop within the organisation.

Additional "on the job training" will be given if required to the right candidate to enable you to reach your full potential and progress within the automotive industry.

Being able to work unsupervised and complete the necessary documentation is essential as would awareness of health and safety obligations at all times, the successful candidate can expect to enjoy a varied and interesting occupation with a good salary to reflect their skills and dedication to the company.

Location:                         Corby

Salary:                              £24,000 - £26,000 DOE

Job Type:                         Permanent Full Time

Hours / Days:                 Monday to Friday 0800 1700 and alternative Saturday mornings

Requirements of the Tyre Fitter / Valeter / Workshop Trainee:

  • Have some knowledge of repair and replacement of all types of tyres from Commercial, Agricultural, Car and Motorcycle.
  • Understand and operate specialist tyre fitting and wheel balancing equipment.
  • To be professional and courteous to all staff and customers upholding the values of the business.
  • Good housekeeping routines to meet H&S requirements.
  • Ensure all paperwork is completed to a high standard.
  • Able to carry out alignments.
  • Undertake valeting of vehicles prior to them leaving the workshop.
  • Assist the vehicle and servicing technicians.
  • Full Driving Licence will be required.
