Who are we looking for:

We are looking for a dynamic, collaborative, results-driven individual, who can build strong relationships with clients.

Ambition and drive are critical to success in this role; you should be actively looking to progress to an Account Manager role within 24 months.

A proven track record of success, either in a professional or academic environment, would be advantageous.

You’ll be working alongside the Account Manager, who will support you in developing relationships with key clients. Part of this will be using your analytical ability to research both the market and the clients’ portfolios, to give detailed insight around opportunities to take on new product ranges which will develop their business.

Key responsibilities

Build and maintain client relationships with key, tactical clients.

Support the Account Manager in developing major new and existing accounts.

Provide accurate and updated pricing information.

Conduct deep-dive analysis of client portfolios to identify opportunities for business development.

Research the marketplace to ensure that pricing remains competitive and commercial.

Present regular updates to the Account Manager and other senior members of the business on status of accounts and any opportunities you have identified.

Knowledge, Skills and Requirements

Strong evidence or either academic or professional success.

Good A level grades (educated to degree level desirable) would be desirable.

Thrives on a high workload and committed to working within deadlines.

Excellent communication skills.

Effective problem-solving skills -solutions-focused.

Self-organised and self-motivated.

Strong computing skills and Tech-tools friendly.

Fast learner, flexible, enthusiastic, energetic.

Sociable personality; good collaborative team player with an open, growth mindset.
