About the Role

CK Funded is seeking a highly strategic and execution-driven Chief Operating Officer (COO) with a deep background in prop trading operations to lead and optimize the company's operational backbone. This is a key leadership position responsible for building structure, enforcing discipline, and scaling systems across global markets, while working directly with the CEO and executive team.

This is not a soft role only apply if you have a proven track record of operational excellence in fast-paced, metrics-driven environments.

What You Will Do

  • Own and lead day-to-day operations across departments (trading, compliance, finance, support, tech)

  • Design and implement scalable systems and SOPs that support rapid growth

  • Oversee funding cycles, trader evaluations, payout systems, and risk management protocols

  • Build operational dashboards, performance reports, and quality control measures

  • Ensure regulatory compliance, platform uptime, and seamless client experiences

  • Lead cross-functional coordination between UAE, UK, and African market teams

  • Monitor and optimized operational KPIs such as approval times, payout TATs, challenge conversion rates

  • Hire, train, and manage mid-level operational teams with accountability and precision

  • Work closely with tech to build internal tools, automation systems, and ops infrastructure

  • Report weekly to the CEO with critical updates, risks, and progress metrics

 Qualifications

  • Masters degree (MSc/MBA) in Operations Management, Finance, Business Administration, or Engineering from a recognized institution

  • Bachelors degree in the same fields with a first-class or upper-second honor classification

  • Certification in Lean Six Sigma, PMP, or operational strategy is an added advantage

  • Strong command of data analysis tools (Excel, Google Sheets, Power BI, or equivalent)

  • Familiarity with compliance, financial regulations, and prop trading rulesets

Experience

  • 6+ years of hands-on experience in operations leadership within a prop firm, fintech startup, or trading technology company

  • Proven success in building systems that scaled operations from small teams to 5x-10x growth

  • Deep understanding of trader funding models, account risk structures, and payout processes

  • Experience managing remote, multicultural, and cross-border teams

  • High-level comfort working with tech product teams to implement automation and backend systems

  • Strong familiarity with industry platforms (MT4/MT5, CRM integrations, KYC tools, payout APIs)

  • Demonstrated ability to balance cost-efficiency, speed, and compliance under pressure
