Scope and Purpose: 

A Marketing and Social Media Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing marketing and social media campaigns that promote a company and its products and/or services. This role plays a major part in enhancing brand awareness within the digital space as well as driving website traffic and acquiring leads/customers.  Your position will overlap with a Virtual Assitant role and you will both work in conjunction with one another on tasks related to the clients products and/or services.
A Marketing and Social Media Manager executes, and drives a number of different digital marketing components, such as content, email, mobile, social media, SEO, paid search, and more. In your role you must understand the many different facets of digital media and the role they play in the digital marketing space.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities May Include:

General promotion including:
Collaborates with the project team to create innovative content ideas
Social Media Management (Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter)
Researches, writes, and edits client website content
LinkedIn marketing and Facebook ads
Brand identity 

Content Marketing:
Drive leads and subscribers to the website using SEO best practices to generate website traffic
Coordinates effort with Web Developer and/or SEO Specialist to fill in content that interests consumers
Produces various content types such as email, social media posts, blogs, and print
Utilizes correct English grammar, spelling, and punctuation for excellent online readability

Skills & Qualifications:
BA or BS degree from an accredited college or university in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or similar field
Knowledge of digital marketing tactics, including SEO, email marketing, and web analytics 
Excellent English language skill including grammar, writing, speaking, and research skills 
Knowledge of keyword research using Google AdWord is a plus
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite
Ability to work independently and meticulously 

Experience:

A minimum of 2-3 years in a Marketing or like experience as a Marketing Administrator
