About the job Junior Accountant

Manage a portfolio of up to 10 clients requiring a range of tasks including:
   o AP management
   o AR management
   o Payroll processing
   o General bookkeeping data entry
   o Maintain chart of accounts
   o Month end reconciliations of GL accounts
Troubleshoot and resolve accounting issues for clients
Prepare Activity Statements for clients as required by ATO lodgement program
Prepare and lodge employee SGC payments per client requirements 

Qualifications, Skills, Experience & Personal Attributes (mandatory):
Accounting qualification, university degree level or equivalent. (CPA desirable)
Minimum 2+ years post qualification experience of working as an accountant.
Sound knowledge of computerised accounting systems, especially Microsoft Outlook & Excel
An ability to deal with numerous issues concurrently
Good working knowledge of MYOB, Xero accounting & Xero Practice Management software.
Accuracy and attention to detail
Aptitude for numbers and quantitative skills

Qualifications, Skills, Experience & Personal Attributes (desirable):
Knowledge of Australian GST.
Experience working within a BPO for an Australian Accounting firm 

Key Performance Indicators:
Personal productivity to be maintained at minimum 80%
Write-offs to be less than 5%
Client retention to be 100%
