Position Description:


Position Title:  Purchasing Admin. Assistant 

Classification:  Staff / Rank & File

Salary Grade:  P 15000 - P 25000/ month

Reports To:  Account Manager and Client

Primary Relationships:  Client, Client Staff, Admin

Date: May 2021


 

Background:

This position is a supporting role within the Purchasing department The ideal candidate seeks shipment and production information of purchase orders throughout the supply chain. The same information will be distributed to appropriate personnel and logged into the system. 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Creation of Purchase Orders

  • Fixed Asset Management and inventory control;

  • Delivering stock into the system with deliveries

  • Update client systems with shipping dates

  • Other related duties that may be assigned from time to time

  • Communicates clearly with the vendor, warehouse, freight carrier, purchasing, and management personnel

  • Records changes to estimated delivery and pricing, with appropriate approval, into the system.

  • Processes delivery paperwork (primarily drop ships) and adjusts inventory levels in the ERP system

  • Performs research/ investigation on POs per the request of agents, customer service and management.

  • Performs other tasks as assigned.

 

Requirements:

      • Usage of any CRM software for PO management
      • Usage of Microsoft Office and Google Suite applications
      • Highly organized with keen attention to details
      • Good English and presentation skills 
      • Can work independently and with minimal supervision
      • BS Business Administration or any related field
