What we expect from you:
Excellent English communication skills
Looking for someone with a nursing/ medical background who can be trained to be able to triage patient telephone calls through the day
Position Title: Virtual Assistant
Classification: Assistant
Salary Grade: 25000 - 35000 peso / month
Reports To: Account Manager, Client
Primary Relationships: Client, Providers, and Patients
Date(s): March 2021
Background:
Performs administrative duties for doctors, screening calls, managing calendars, lab results, and helping to answer inquiries.
Working Schedule:
US based client (Graveyard 10PM-7AM, or 11PM-8AM, Monday - Friday)
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee basic lab results with training
Do chart reviews for patients needing refills
Help to take care of FMLA or work forms, attend to patient emails
Help with scheduling changes when needed
Have Microsoft excel and Microsoft Word expertise
Able to handle and follow up on some specialty medication verifications.
Be able to room patients on software TELEVISIT days as back up
Oversee note templates and completion at the end of the day with training.
Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor Degree holder of Medical, Nursing, or Pharmacy
Excellent attitude, flexibility and reliability is key, as is ability to take initiative and ownership.
Detail-oriented and a high level of accuracy in work product
Excellent English language skills (written and speaking)
Good time management and task management skills
Noticeable organizational and prioritization skills
Ability to work independently and meticulously
Proficiency in MS Office Google Suite
Able to demonstrate Initiative
Experience:
A minimum of 1-2 years in a BPO setting or equivalent as a nurse or in the medical field
Prior experience as a Customer Service Representative is helpful, but not required
