What we expect from you:

  • Excellent English communication skills

  • Looking for someone with a nursing/ medical background who can be trained to be able to triage patient telephone calls through the day

Position Title: Virtual Assistant

Classification: Assistant

Salary Grade: 25000 - 35000 peso / month

Reports To: Account Manager, Client

Primary Relationships: Client, Providers, and Patients

Date(s): March 2021

Background:

Performs administrative duties for doctors, screening calls, managing calendars, lab results, and helping to answer inquiries.

Working Schedule:

  • US based client (Graveyard 10PM-7AM, or 11PM-8AM, Monday - Friday)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee basic lab results with training

  • Do chart reviews for patients needing refills

  • Help to take care of FMLA or work forms, attend to patient emails

  • Help with scheduling changes when needed

  • Have Microsoft excel and Microsoft Word expertise

  • Able to handle and follow up on some specialty medication verifications.

  • Be able to room patients on software TELEVISIT days as back up

  • Oversee note templates and completion at the end of the day with training.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor Degree holder of Medical, Nursing, or Pharmacy 

  • Excellent attitude, flexibility and reliability is key, as is ability to take initiative and ownership.

  • Detail-oriented and a high level of accuracy in work product

  • Excellent English language skills (written and speaking)

  • Good time management and task management skills

  • Noticeable organizational and prioritization skills

  • Ability to work independently and meticulously

  • Proficiency in MS Office Google Suite

  • Able to demonstrate Initiative

Experience:

  • A minimum of 1-2 years in a BPO setting or equivalent as a nurse or in the medical field

  • Prior experience as a Customer Service Representative is helpful, but not required
