Quick Rundown:
As the Operations Manager, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing the operational and commercial performance of the team. Your focus will encompass performance management, productivity improvement, collaboration, staff experience enhancement, and policy creation/implementation. This is an exciting opportunity to drive positive change and impact the success of our operations.
What You’ll Do:
Oversee the performance and productivity of the team, reporting directly to Managers and conducting regular performance reviews and coaching sessions
Develop and implement performance improvement plans, contingency strategies, and retention initiatives
Lead employee engagement efforts, including training, recognition programs, and quarterly team-building activities
Generate and analyze performance reports, and conduct quarterly business reviews to ensure continuous improvement
Manage administrative functions such as employee database maintenance, onboarding/offboarding, disciplinary documentation, and monthly equipment audits
Coordinate with HR and recruitment teams to attract top talent and support policy development
Serve as the main in-country liaison, addressing operational, performance, and HR-related matters
Conduct regular meetings with HR Business Partners and Account Managers to ensure alignment on business and employee needs
Manage escalations and collaborate with Service Delivery teams to resolve issues promptly and effectively
What We’re Looking For:
Proven Leadership: A strong track record of success in roles such as Operations Manager, General Manager, or a similar leadership position
Business Acumen: Familiarity with all business functions, including but not limited to training, finance, and HR
Analytical Skills: Proficiency in data analytics and reporting to make data-driven decisions
Communication Skills: Outstanding communication and negotiation skills to foster collaboration and drive results
Team Leadership: Demonstrated experience in leading and managing teams across multiple lines of business
Problem-Solving: Proficiency in problem-solving, performance management, and enhancing employee experiences
