Background:

The eCommerce Strategist role will provide support to all Pure Play and Marketplace channels of business including Amazon, Wayfair, and Overstock within the eCommerce department. Responsibility will vary by customer weight and include analytical and customer service support for priority accounts as well as strategy and assortment rationalization support for lesser-developed accounts. Duties include tasks such report generation, SKU creation, content auditing and customer service assistance. This position requires an extensive amount of time spent in Excel and/or customer databases as well as our eCommerce platform.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Document item data within internal systems and routinely audit content accuracy on partner sites
  • Enter item data on specific templates and submit to retail sites for new item creation
  • Submit and track technical support tickets at the batch level for updating problematic content
  • Submit content creation requests to the Digital Content Manager as needed
  • Coordinate with Customer Service, eCommerce, and Sales Team members to address individual marketplace customer service requests and occasional B2B quality control inquiries
  • Partner with eCommerce management team to build and maintain item assortment strategies
  • Create various reports using multiple sources of data and deliver summaries to eCommerce management team

Essential Qualifications:

  • Minimum of four-year college degree; equivalent relevant experience will be considered in lieu of degree
  • Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office

  • Detail oriented, organized and determined to succeed

  • Comfortable in working both in a large team as well as independently

  • Ability to meet deadlines and provide regular progress reports

  • Prior knowledge of Amazon business channels, including Seller Central,

    Vendor Central, and 

    Private Brands is considered a plus
  • Experience selling on Amazon, Wayfair, Overstock, Rakuten, eBay, Facebook or similar is considered a plus

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to withstand prolonged periods sitting at a desk

  • Frequent use of upper extremities to perform keyboard functions and work on a computer

  • Ability to occasionally stand/walk
