Performs administrative duties for doctors, screening calls, managing calendars, lab results, and helping to answer inquiries.
● Answers the phone and directs the caller to the appropriate location.
● Checking for missing labs online and attaching to patients chart
● Help with virtual messages such as refills, and retransmit labs.
● Handle prior authorizations
● Help to attach documents from email/uploads
● Email patients lab slips as needed
● Appointment setting, screening calls, managing calendars, and helping to answer inquiries.
● Detail-oriented and a high level of accuracy in work product
● Excellent English language skills (written and speaking)
● Good time management and task management skills
● Noticeable organizational and prioritization skills
● Ability to work independently and meticulously
● Proficiency in MS Office Google Suite
● Able to demonstrate Initiative
● Solid analytical and problem solving skills
● Excellent English communication skills
● Previous experience in some areas of the medical field such as nursing,
pharmaceutical, medical encoding, scribe, transcription, etc.
● A minimum of 1-2 years in a BPO setting or equivalent as a nurse or in the medical field
● Prior experience as a Customer Service Representative is helpful
