Quick Rundown:

The Account Manager plays a pivotal role in delivering exceptional client care and operational efficiency. This position is responsible for managing client relations, scheduling, compliance, and staff oversight to ensure a seamless and high-quality experience for clients and caregivers.

What Youll Do:

  • Effectively manages the customer care procedures and serves as point of contact for client/customer relations

  • Supports and uses all technology tools and resources to ensure proper business processes, schedules staff to meet client care needs, minimize non-billed overtime, ensures on-call phone and assigned staff are properly trained and available as needed.

  • Ensure rates are entered per agreement and visits are entered using authorization manager

  • Assists with the intake of new clients and informs potential clients of our services and reasons to utilize BrightStar over other agencies

  • Assists in the development of organization goals and agency performance improvement activities

  • Administers agency policies and procedures

  • Assists the Director of Nursing with assessing the competency of staff to promote quality, continuity and safety of a clients care

  • Supervises, educates and coaches other field personnel, as directed by the Director of Nursing

  • Provide information to be used for statistics, reports and records for purposes of evaluation and reporting of organization activities

  • Assures proper maintenance of clinical records in compliance with local, state and federal laws

  • Assures compliance with all local, state and federal laws

  • Match field employees and clients for long-term success; minimize caregiver changes

  • Build schedules in advance, ensuring accuracy through daily and weekly reviews

  • Complete regular touchpoints (24 hours, 7 days, and every 30 days), documenting all interactions

  • Address call-offs with compassion, document appropriately, and escalate persistent issues to the Director of Operations

  • Address missed clock-ins/outs and incomplete visit notes promptly

  • Perform Mobile Shift Maintenance Daily. Alert DOO and Payroll Manager of issues prior to payroll/billing cycle

  • Answer phones, handle inquiry calls, and collaborate with the office team

  • Monitor and report unavoidable overtime to the Director of Operations

  • Track and improve Home Care Pulse scores in collaboration with the Director of Operations

  • Participate in on-call rotations after six months, summarizing activities and follow-ups

  • Manage accounts for Cigna, Helper Bees, BrightHorizons, and Central Intake by requesting authorizations, accepting referrals, and staffing appropriately


What Were Looking For:

  • Bachelors degree in healthcare administration, business, or a related field

  • 3-5 years of experience in client care coordination, healthcare operations, or a similar role

  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills

  • Familiarity with scheduling systems and authorization management tools

  • Knowledge of billing processes and compliance standards

  • Ability to handle on-call duties with professionalism and resolve issues effectively

  • Commitment to delivering excellent client and caregiver experiences
