Position Title: Procurement Associate

Salary: 13,000 - 13,000 PHP a month

Reports To: Asset Protection Manager

Primary Relationships: Internal Team

Schedule: 4:00 PM - 1:00 AM PHT

Summary:

The Procurement Associate plays a pivotal role in supporting the procurement function by assisting the Procurement Team in various tasks related to sourcing, quotation, order processing, report generation, document submission, permit processing, and email communication.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with the Procurement Associate to streamline sourcing activities and ensure timely fulfillment of procurement requirements

  • Collect and provide quotations as requested by clients or internal stakeholders, ensuring accuracy and adherence to budgetary constraints

  • Assist in identifying and evaluating potential suppliers, conducting market research, and maintaining a database of reliable vendors

  • Support the procurement process by assisting in the processing of purchase orders, monitoring delivery schedules, and resolving any order-related issues

  • Compile and generate reports on procurement activities, expenditure, supplier performance, and other relevant metrics as required by management

  • Assist in the timely submission of procurement-related documents and ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures. Facilitate the liquidation process for completed orders

  • Aid in obtaining necessary permits and licenses for procurement activities, liaising with regulatory bodies and ensuring compliance with legal requirements

  • Assist the Procurement Associate in managing email correspondence, responding to inquiries, and maintaining communication with internal and external stakeholders


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred

  • Prior experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management is advantageous

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with proficiency in email etiquette

  • Attention to detail and accuracy in handling procurement documentation and data

  • Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook or Google Sheet

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities

  • Familiarity with procurement software or ERP systems is a plus

  • Driving with driver's license
