CAD Operator

Position Title: CAD Operator

Classification: Associate

Salary: PHP 22,000 - 25,000 a month

Reports To: Client Advisor, Client

Primary Relationships: Client Staff

Date: January 2023

Schedule: 10 AM - 6 PM PHT


Responsibilities:

• Ability to work under pressure and flexibility to work long hours, if the situation demands.
• Prepares preliminary, for constructions and as built plans for the following services:
  - Plumbing
  - Mechanical
  - Electrical
• Applies mark up to the plans.
• Creates mechanical and electrical details.
• Layouts plans with respect to the mark up detail provided by the client.
• Follow specifications and calculations to create various technical drawings
• Ensures that schematics (electrical and mechanical) matches the layout within the plans.
• Creates 3D details.
• Ability to work in a collaborative and diverse team environment.
• Setup drawings and make it ready for the team to work on
• Review project files for compliance with Standards/protocols
• Implement best practice procedures
• Assisting Engineers in drawing production
• Produce accurate 2D drawings, 3D models
• Coordinating drawing production in line with project requirements and in conjunction with other disciplines
• Helping to technically deliver CAD projects in the role of CAD
• Able to meet tight deadlines and able to work alone or with a team
  

Qualifications:

• Good knowledge of Mechanical (Ventilation, Heating, Water, Drain, and Sprinkler) , Electrical (Power, Lighting, Fire, and Security) and Plumbing Engineering terminology
• At least 1 year experience in construction industry
• Any degree with Architecture or Engineering
• Proficient in using AutoCAD and Sketchup
• With good communication and comprehension skills
• Strong Attention to details
• Application of technical specification within details
• Knows how to create sections and details from scratch
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work.
• Detail-oriented and a high level of accuracy in work product
• Knowledge in 2D, 3D plans and Sketchup. MEP AutoCAD Software
