Position Title: Architectural Draftsman

Salary: 40,000 - 42,000 PHP a month

Reports To: Partner, Partner Advisor

Primary Relationships: Partner Team

Date: April 2024

Schedule: 9:00 PM - 6:00 AM PHT

Job Summary:

This role entails overseeing projects from inception to completion, managing project teams, and

ensuring quality outcomes. Responsibilities include drafting layout plans, resolving design

obstacles, communicating with clients, coordinating with architects/engineers on structural

aspects, and preparing construction documentation. Required experience includes proficiency in

AutoCAD Architecture, floor plan and elevation drafting, structural drafting, and construction

documentation, with knowledge of Revit Architecture being advantageous. Personal skills such

as attention to detail, effective communication, deadline management, and leadership abilities

are essential.

Responsibilities:


  • Project management

    • Take over the overall idea of the project and get it to completion.

    • Hand over portions of the project to other team drafters and ensure quality completion

  • Layout & Elevations

    • Take the overall design idea from either the customer, designer, or our Architect, and Complete the full Layout plan, as well as ensure that all desired components of the project can be met

    • Resolve obstacles that prevent us from getting the desired design we want

    • Communicate with customers about changes, new ideas, or any obstacles during the drafting process

  • Structure drafting

    • Communicate with the Architect/Engineer about the structural approach that we are taking for the project

    • Complete the structural layout for the building

    • Work out the practicality of the structural plan

    • Ensure clarity of the Drawings so it is clear to the Customer and Contractors

  • Construction documentation

    • Complete the plans, ready for building permit submission and for Construction

    • Identify the Code details required for the Project to obtain the Building official's approval

  • Review

    • Review Final plans (Your own, and from other Teammates) and provide transparent comments and feedback



Qualifications:


  • Minimum of 2 years of experience

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Architecture

  • Experience in floor plan and elevation drafting

  • Familiarity with structural drafting

  • Knowledge of construction documentation processes

  • Proficiency in Revit Architecture is a plus

  • Detail-oriented with a keen eye for accuracy

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Ability to thrive in a deadline-driven environment

  • Strong organizational and management skills
