Quick Rundown:
In this role, you will be responsible for essential bookkeeping tasks, administrative support, and handling order processing. You will work remotely, managing basic bookkeeping in Xero, performing general office tasks, and ensuring smooth order processing. This is an ideal role for someone who is organized, efficient, and has an eye for detail.
Bookkeeping Support
Enter and maintain accurate records of financial transactions, including sales, expenses, receipts, invoices, and purchase orders
Perform regular bank reconciliations in Xero, ensuring all transactions align with records and resolving any discrepancies
Manage accounts payable by recording, tracking, and scheduling payments to vendors
Handle accounts receivable by sending invoices to clients, recording payments, and following up on overdue accounts
Order Processing
Process and track customer orders, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery
Communicate with customers regarding order status and address any inquiries or issues
Collaborate with the in-house team where required to ensure the customer experience is seamless and exceptional and ensure timelines are maintained
General Administration
Provide day-to-day administrative support, including email management, document preparation, and data entry
Organize digital files and documents, ensuring accurate and accessible record-keeping
Assist with scheduling and coordination tasks as required by the team
What Were Looking For:
Experience in bookkeeping, administration, or order processing and in particular Xero accounting software
A meticulous eye for accuracy in data entry, financial tasks, and order processing
Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and stay organized
Effective communication skills to liaise with customers and team members remotely
Ability to address issues independently, with a proactive approach to completing tasks
