Salary: 30,000 - 50,000 PHP monthly

We are seeking a skilled and innovative Product Designer with a proven track record in injection molding dye design and expertise in utilizing computer-aided design (CAD) software and machinery. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in our product development process, contributing to the design and production of high-quality products that meet industry standards and customer expectations.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, manufacturing, and marketing, to conceptualize, design, and develop products from inception to production
• Leverage your expertise in injection molding dye design to create molds that ensure optimal functionality, manufacturability, and quality
• Utilize CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) to create detailed product designs, technical drawings, and specifications that adhere to project requirements and industry standards
• Work closely with engineers to address technical challenges and refine designs for manufacturing feasibility, considering factors such as materials, tolerances, and production processes
• Conduct thorough research on materials, components, and manufacturing techniques to inform design decisions that optimize product performance and cost-efficiency
• Develop prototypes and conduct testing to validate design concepts, making necessary adjustments based on testing results and user feedback
• Collaborate with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure the successful production and assembly of designed components, providing guidance throughout the manufacturing process
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices related to injection molding, CAD software, and manufacturing processes
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by providing insights and recommendations for enhancing design processes, tools, and methodologies
• Maintain accurate documentation of design iterations, decisions, and project progress

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degrees are a plus
• Proven experience (X years) in product design, with a focus on injection molding dye design and CAD software utilization
• Proficiency in CAD software, such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or equivalent, for creating detailed designs, assemblies, and technical drawings
• Strong understanding of injection molding processes, materials, and manufacturing considerations
• Familiarity with computer-aided manufacturing (CAM) and the ability to collaborate with machinists to optimize design files for CNC machining
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to tackle complex design challenges while considering various constraints
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• A portfolio showcasing a range of design projects, particularly those involving injection molding and CAD work
• Detail-oriented with a keen eye for aesthetics and design quality
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, cross-functional team environment
• Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
