Summary:


Our client, a trailblazer in the Web3, tech, and fintech sectors, is on the lookout for a dedicated and detail-oriented PR & Media Specialist to join our growing PR & Media team. Aimed at entry-level or near entry-level professionals, this role is integral to bolstering the effectiveness and reach of our Head of PR & Media. The ideal candidate will manage a variety of tasks focused on media monitoring, public relations activities, and cross-departmental collaboration, with a particular emphasis on understanding and leveraging the unique dynamics of the Web3 ecosystem.

Responsibilities:


  • Media Monitoring: Utilize advanced tracking and analytics tools to monitor media coverage across diverse platforms, with a focus on Web3, tech, and fintech landscapes.

  • Weekly Reporting: Automate and compile PR & Media weekly reports to track outcomes and media engagements effectively.

  • Media Outreach: Execute cold calling and outreach campaigns to media outlets using HubSpot templates to secure paid and organic news placements, podcast appearances, speaking engagements, and guest contributions.

  • Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, social media, and design teams to ensure cohesive communication strategies aligned with our Web3 focus.

  • Contact List Management: Maintain and enrich the PR & Media contact list, emphasizing Web3, tech, and fintech media outlets and influencers.

  • Research and Strategy: Assist in researching industry trends and developing content and PR strategies within the Web3 ecosystem.

  • Administrative Support: Take meeting notes and manage payables related to PR & Media activities, potentially leveraging AI tools.



Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or related field, with advanced credentials or certifications in media relations or digital marketing.

  • 1-2 years in PR, media relations, or a closely related field. Strong understanding and interest in Web3, tech, and fintech sectors are essential.

  • Proficiency with PR and media monitoring tools, CRM platforms like HubSpot, and a keen understanding of the Web3 environment.

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities, with the talent for crafting compelling outreach messages.

  • Capable of multitasking and thriving in a fast-paced setting, meeting tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality work.


Not required but appreciated:

  • Previous experience as a Sales Development Representative (SDR), especially within tech, fintech, or Web3 sectors, is highly valued.

  • French or German language skills are a plus for communicating with journalists who are French or German speakers.
