Position Title: Senior Accountant

Salary: 70,000 PHP monthly

Reports To: Client, Client Advisor

Primary Relationship: Client Team

Date: May 2023

Schedule: 9:00 PM to 6:00 AM PH Time

Responsibilities:


  • Manage general ledgers for assigned properties, including monthly journal entries and income and expense accruals

  • Review general ledgers to ensure transactions are appropriately classified

  • Review coding of invoices on Yardi Payscan to ensure properly coded for expense type and identify potential missed tenant chargeback

  • Perform periodic true-up of CAM and tax escalations

  • Handle tenant inquiries, tenant delinquencies, and CAM audits

  • Conduct bank reconciliations

  • Manage AR/AP for credit cards and property finance management

  • Prepare accurate and timely financial packages, forecasts & budgets including analyses and supporting schedules of all balance sheet and income statement accounts

  • Provide explanations of significant variances in accounts as requested

  • Gather data for the corporate income tax team and other tax compliance reporting

  • Perform both detailed and high level analysis as required on assigned properties

  • Understand accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), cash receipts, bank reconciliations, and lease administration functions of commercial real estate and how they drive the financial results of assigned properties

  • Prepare year-end work papers and support schedules as needed by external auditors

  • Perform year-end closing journal entries and rolling ledgers forward for the following year

  • Assist the accounting team with Yardi special projects and process improvement tasks.

  • Prepare the annual budget


Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; professional accounting designation preferred

  • 5+ years of extensive exposure to commercial real estate accounting

  • Strong accounting skills

  • Proficient in Excel

  • Yardi Voyager expérience a plus

  • Working knowledge of income tax rules and regulations is a plus
