Position Title: Medical Virtual Assistant

Salary: 30,000 - 45,000 PHP monthly

Reports To: Partner, Partner Advisor

Primary Relationships: Partner Staff

Date: April 2024

Schedule: 9:00 PM - 6:00 AM PHT


Responsibilities:

  • Help schedule our field staff with their clients youll become an expert on how to schedule in ABS

  • Answer phones and greet people in a friendly and helpful manner, direct them as needed

  • Call/text our field staff to confirm, or revise, clock in and clock out times help train them on our technology to clock in and out of their shifts

  • Participate in our office rotation of answering phones after hours (there is extra pay for this)

  • Grade quizzes that our field staff is required to take each year, and communicate results to our Branch Manager

  • Upload documents to our ABS system or our Workbright HR system as needed

  • Conduct a basic screening of applicants interested in our home health aide and nursing positions, pass on information to Recruiter

  • Other general administrative duties to assist the office staff

  • Initially, this role will be Monday through Friday 9am-5pm ET but will eventually switch to Thursday through Monday 9am-5pm


Qualifications:

  • Have a very strong command of English and be able to connect with people over the phone and have a conversation

  • Have a sense of urgency and be able to multitask

  • Be able to think critically and problem solve

  • Have a desire to be part of team and communicate frequently with your coworkers to provide status or ask for help

  • Be very comfortable with technology: We use Vonage for phones, Emitrr for texting, Teams for in-office messaging/cloud storage and MS Office applications for everyday work

  • You have some knowledge of home care or what nurses and home health aides to

  • The ability to influence people during a phone conversation. For example, being comfortable telling a home health aide that a last minute cancellation is not acceptable and we expect them to go to work or face disciplinary action. Another example is to tell a home health aide who calls last minute to say they cant go to work that they are letting down their client and putting the company in a difficult situation, and they need to reconsider and go to work.
