Position Title: Insurance Verification Specialist

Salary: 30,000 - 35,000 PHP monthly

Reports To: Client Advisor, Client

Primary Relationship: Client Team

Date: May 2023

Schedule: 11:00 PM to 8:00 AM PHT

Responsibilities:

Verify patient insurance coverage to ensure that required procedures are covered by the individual's provider.
Accurately enter and update patient benefit information in the organization's insurance system.
Spend significant time on the phone with insurance companies to gather necessary information.
Serve as a resource to patients, providing them with relevant information about their insurance coverage.
Explain coverage amounts provided by insurance policies to patients, assisting them in understanding the coverage of various procedures.
Assist patients in arranging payment for services not covered by insurance, discussing financing options to accommodate their budgets.
Perform light administrative duties as required.

Requirements:

Prior experience working with insurance companies and comprehensive knowledge of different types of coverage and policies.
Excellent multitasking skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects concurrently.
Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities to ensure accurate maintenance of patient insurance records.
Ability to focus and work quickly, as insurance paperwork often requires timely processing.
Excellent teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals and deliver optimal patient care.
