Position Title: Copy Writer

Salary: 45,000 - 65,000 PHP a month

Responsibilities:

  • Content Writing: Craft engaging and informative copy for blogs, social media, emails, enhanced content, paid advertising, and product detail pages (PDPs), ensuring alignment with brand voice and messaging. You will create content pieces that drive customer awareness and sales of our full mattress and furniture portfolio.

  • Editing: Proofread, edit and re-purpose content produced by other members of our team. Edit and refine AI-generated content to ensure quality, coherence, and alignment with brand guidelines. AI Prompt Writing and Editing: Generate creative and effective AI prompts to support the development of content across various channels.

  • Training and Development: Conduct training sessions for team members on the effective use of the AI content tool, sharing best practices and insights. Stay informed about the latest advancements in AI content creation and contribute to the continuous improvement of our processes.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, design, and product teams to ensure content meets strategic objectives and enhances user experiences. Zinus is a diverse team based all over the world, you will provide support to our teams based in the United States, Korea, and China, as well as external creative agency partners.

  • SEO Optimization: Use SEO best practices to generate content that raises our online rankings and drives traffic to either our site or other 3rd party partner sites as required

  • Research: Research topics within our competitive landscape to write compelling, competitive content

  • Knowledge Base: Become our in-house expert in creating content that adheres to 3rd party retail partner guidelines. Document copywriting workflows and identify opportunities to create efficiencies.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or related field. A Master's degree is a plus.

  • Has strong Marketing background

  • Handled an Advertising role, leading to an extensive Advertisement experience

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in content writing, preferably in a senior or lead role. Proven track record of creating engaging and compelling content across various platforms.

  • A strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of writing samples, including but not limited to articles, blog posts, social media content, marketing copy, and website content. Samples should demonstrate creativity, storytelling ability, and adherence to brand voice and tone.

  • Familiarity with the industry or niche the company operates in. Experience in writing for relevant topics and understanding of SEO principles and best practices.

  • Ability to think outside the box, generate innovative ideas, and translate concepts into captivating content. Experience with creative brainstorming sessions and content ideation.

  • Exceptional writing skills with impeccable grammar, punctuation, and spelling. Ability to craft original, error-free, and polished content under tight deadlines.

  • Flexibility to adapt writing style and tone based on target audience, brand guidelines, and content objectives. Experience with tailoring content for different platforms and formats.

  • Strong research skills to gather information, fact-check content, and incorporate data-driven insights into writing. Experience with conducting interviews and sourcing credible information.

  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including designers, marketers, and subject matter experts. Experience with providing constructive feedback and incorporating revisions.

  • Experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks, and meeting deadlines. Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and workflow tools is a plus.

  • Basic understanding of content analytics and performance metrics. Ability to interpret data, draw actionable insights, and optimize content strategies accordingly.

  • Proficiency in using creative tools and software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator), Canva, or similar platforms for creating visual content assets.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to communicate ideas effectively, pitch content concepts, and articulate rationale behind content decisions.

  • Demonstrated passion for continuous learning and staying updated on industry trends, content marketing strategies, and writing techniques. Participation in workshops, webinars, or relevant certifications is desirable.

  • Experience in mentoring or leading a team of content writers. Strong leadership skills, including the ability to inspire, motivate, and guide team members towards achieving shared goals.
