Quick Rundown:

The Plumbing & Electrical Maintenance & Call-Out Coordinator is responsible for managing all incoming plumbing-related service requests, scheduling engineers, and ensuring smooth communication between clients, contractors, and internal teams. This role requires strong organisational skills, excellent communication, and the ability to prioritise urgent issues effectively.

What Youll Do:

Call Management & Scheduling

  • Receive, log, and update plumbing and electrical call-outs from clients, tenants, and internal teams.

  • Assess the urgency of each request.

  • Provide updates to engineers on job changes, emergency call-outs, and access details.

Customer & Contractor Communication

  • Act as the first point of contact for all plumbing and electrical call-out queries.

  • Keep clients informed regarding job statuses, appointment times, and any delays.

  • Liaise with the engineer to update them on jobs and document reports.

Administration & Record Keeping

  • Maintain accurate records of all work orders, call-outs, and completed jobs in the companys management system.

  • Ensure all compliance documents are up to date.

Operational Support

  • Assist the maintenance team with general administrative tasks.

  • Support continuous improvement efforts to streamline call-out processes.

What We're Looking For:

  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication.

  • Experience in property maintenance, facilities management, or a similar coordination role (preferred).

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.

  • Customer-focused with a calm and professional telephone manner.

  • Proactive and able to work independently.

  • Strong problem-solving abilities.

  • Team player with a positive attitude.

  • Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented.
