Position Title: Senior IT Support

Classification: Staff/Rank & File

Salary Grade: PHP15,000 to PHP18,000/month

Reports To:  IT Manager/Head of IT

Primary Relationships: Internal Staff, Management, Clients

Date:  May 2021


Schedule: Fixed Shift (Morning, Mid or Night)

 

Background:

As a Senior IT Support, you are expected to be the point of contact when there is an absence of the IT Manager.


Responsibilities:

  • Configure switches, router, firewall, servers, access point, door access, telephone system, printers and other IT devices.

  • Network Cabling Management, deployment and monitoring of network devices.

  • IT Asset Management and Inventory

  • Troubleshoot network devices, server and IT related concerns.

  • Creates SOP for network and security, server/pc and helpdesk.

  • Install and configure standard applications and client requests on the user's laptop/desktop.

  • Support and maintain servers, door access control machine, Wi-Fi AP, CCTV and make sure that it is online 24/7.

  • Maintain the server room and keep it always running.

  • Help and assist on infrastructure projects as needed.

  • Day to day helpdesk support.

 

Requirements:

  • Graduate of BS IT, Computer Engineering or any related courses.

  • Must have at least 2-3 years of experience in Network Engineering or System Administration Server.

  • Certifications are advantage but not required (CCNA, Microsoft.)

  • Knowledge in operations, server network, hardware and/or innovation of new technologies.

  • Strong attention to details with dedication to accuracy.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.

  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently.

  • Good time management and multitasking skills.

  • Good verbal and written communication skills.

  • Must be open to shifting schedules.
