Background:

The Account Executive will be running 4-5 hours of 20-minute web demos daily with the intent of converting those into a minimum of 6 closed deals (loan officer subscriptions) per day. They will also be making outbound calls to a variety of prospects in order to maintain a full pipeline of daily demos. In a newly established sales team inside of a fast-paced startup tech company,everyone pitches in when needed, is proactive, and executes a team player attitude. The sales team shares leads in order to hit aggressive growth goals. Individuals must demonstrate the ability to be relentless, self-motivated and self-sufficient.

Responsibilities:

  • Convert prospective leads into closed sales as efficiently as possible – scale ideas are always welcome! -the more creative you can get the better

  • Be confident to professionally handle and easily overcome objections from prospects

  • Work your way up the decision maker ladder inside of mortgage companies and generate branch-wide/regional/corporate relationships from prospective loan officer leads 

  • Complete outbound sales activities by running Salesloft cadences on time, everyday

  • Use Salesloft and Salesforce according to best practices, including logging activities and notes correctly, without fail to maintain data integrity

  • Manage individual pipeline reporting of lead “opportunity” statuses in Salesforce

  • Set, organize and execute on follow-up activities in Salesforce and Salesloft

  • Run web-based demos for Loan Officers and close each sale opportunity at >60% conversion (as averaged by benchmark data)

  • Revise and innovate new sales pitches and/or sales processes with the team to increase team effectiveness

  • Manage calendar effectively to allow for optimized selling hours and 100% timely meeting attendance

 

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years sales experience

  • SaaS sales experience is a bonus

  • Real estate or mortgage lending background helpful, but not required

  • Bachelor’s Degree with combined relevant work experience preferred

  • Proven phone-based outreach and selling success

  • Familiarity and ease with technology, especially CRM’s

  • Salesforce and Salesloft experience highly preferred

  • Incredibly organized in order to manage pipeline
