Position Description:

Position Title: Subject Matter Expert

Classification: Trainer

Salary Grade: 25,000 Peso / month

Reports To: Account Manager

Primary Relationships: Client Team

Background:

Shadow’s purpose is to help people help people. We’ve started by building an app that reunites lost dogs and cats with their families. We help people manage the process and connect an entire active community of volunteers to tasks they can help with. It's a new kind of app with a social twist for good and a unique opportunity space to take part in. To keep our team safe, we are currently all working from our homes in Pampanga until the end of the pandemic.


We are looking for a full-time Team Lead to support the growth & improvement of our Service Operations, Story Operations and Data Operations teams. In this role, you would be tasked with ensuring that members of the Shadow community who have lost or found a pet receive support that is useful, empathetic, and informal — as if our support team was the user’s best friend just happened to be an expert in reuniting missing pets. 


At Shadow all team members have a voice and contribute to the vision. Our ideal candidate is comfortable having that seat at the table and voicing opinions across the board.

Schedule:

  • Must feel comfortable working U.S. business hours

  • Flexibility to work occasional weekends and major US holidays

Responsibilities:

  • Learn each Operations role from the ground up, starting by training & executing each role as a top performer

  • Recruit, train, audit, and coach Operations team members
  • Update & improve protocols & documentation

  • Plan fun team-building events that are tied to our purpose

  • Ad hoc organizational, administrative, research, and data tasks 

Requirements

  • Exceptional skills in written & spoken conversational English (this is very important)
  • Marketing background preferred but not required
  • Fast learner of new technology and applications
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Self-starter with ability to keep on task to meet deadlines
  • You must provide your own late model smartphone and fast internet, which will be reimbursed (15 Mbps/download and 3 Mbps/upload high-speed internet minimum)
