Position Description: 


Position Title:  Recruiter

Classification: Associate

Salary Grade:  16,000 - 25,000 PHP/monthly

Reports To:  Recruitment Manager, Internal Teams

Primary Relationships:  Client Team

Background: 

As a Recruiter you will primarily source candidates for all open positions by utilizing networking and virtual contact methods such as job portals, social media, LinkedIn, and candidates who apply directly to our open job posts.  Your goal is to find talent and locate individuals who meet specific job requirements by performing in office recruitment. You will be working with the HR team to define the requirements for vacant positions and actively seek out qualified candidates through job portals, networking systems, and social media marketing. 


To ensure success as a Recruiter you should have excellent interpersonal skills, a natural gift for negotiating, and the ability to make quick decisions. A top-rated Recruiter finds the right candidate for each position using advanced networking skills and negotiation tactics. You are responsible for inviting the candidate pool to be interviewed and assessed handling the end-to-end recruiting process. You should be able to gain people’s confidence and put them at ease. Persuasion, persistence, and patience should be your motto.

 

Main Roles: 

  • Maintaining and updating the ATS

  • Scanning for potential candidates and handling administrative and ad hoc tasks

  • You will work closely with the Recruitment Manager to help shortlist candidates for our open jobs


Schedule: 

  • Day Shift (9:00am to 6:00pm)

  • This is an office based position in Clark Freeport Zone, Pampanga.  

Responsibilities: 

  • Maintain and develop your network:

    • Networking is a critical aspect of recruiting

    • Contact industry professionals to ask for referrals

  • Capability to execute end-to-end hiring process: 

    • Conduct virtual interviews 

    • Target all applicants that qualify for the job

  • Negotiate terms of hire with potential candidates

  • Knowledge of the full-cycle recruiting process:

    • Ensures the recruitment process lifecycle is completed in a fast, efficient, and professional manner at all times, minimizing the time to hire 

  • Meet with hiring managers to define the requirements for vacant positions

    • Develops hiring and sourcing approaches in consultation with the Recruitment Manager and the Account Manager in determining and managing the appropriate channels or media for the most effective solution to meet requirements 

    • Provides feedback on candidates to the Recruitment Manager and Account Managers via Slack

    • Provides feedback directly to the candidates and keeps them warm with frequent contact

    • Identifies screening criteria and screens pre-qualified candidates, presenting a shortlist to the Recruitment Manager for review 

    • Communicates results and organizes start dates once a candidate is selected 

    • Works with other recruiters, operations management or workforce planning teams to understand short and long term talent objectives and hiring forecasts for area of responsibility 

  • Pipeline Management:

    • Monitors and tracks candidate pipeline across all sourcing channels and ensures it is adequate to meet the requirements of the open vacancies 

    • Executes and monitors sourcing activities and programs across a variety of channels, including leveraging shared service sourcing capabilities 

  • Utilization of the Applicant Tracking System (ATS)

    • Maintain candidate databases

    • Monitors SLA’s, account dependencies, key operational metrics, process and data compliance regularly, escalating or resolving issues where appropriate 

    • Uses recruitment systems appropriately and with a focus on data integrity to ensure accurate reporting and compliance to data protection legislation 

  • Collaborate with the Digital Recruitment Officer to develop an online presence:

    • Post advertisements on jobs sites and social media

    • Search resume databases and other job sites

    • Use Boolean and other search options to find qualified candidates

  • Send job offers to potential candidates

 

Requirements: 

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

  • Excellent English language skills (written and speaking) 

  • Relationship management skills and advanced negotiation skills

  • Experience working within a fast paced environment 

  • Experience with recruiting/sourcing strategies and social media 

  • Experience with Microsoft Office tools and reporting/data analysis

  • Good organizational and prioritization skills 

  • Ability to work well under pressure

  • Able to demonstrate initiative

  • High level of intelligence 

  • Ability to work independently and meticulously, but also within a team 

  • Solid time management skills 

  • Ability to learn / use MS Office and Google Suite

  • Ability to learn the ATS

  • Willing to work a flex schedule if necessary (in order to conduct final interviews if necessary)

 

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management or similar field OR equivalent prior experience

  • A minimum of 1-2 years in a BPO setting or equivalent as a recruiter
