Job Description:

As a Cybersecurity Analyst, you will be responsible for monitoring, detecting, and responding to security incidents to protect our clients networks and data. You will play a critical role in identifying vulnerabilities, analyzing threat intelligence, and ensuring compliance with security policies and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor Security Systems: Continuously monitor security alerts and events across various systems to detect and respond to potential threats in real-time.
  • Incident Response: Investigate security breaches, malware, and other cyber threats. Coordinate incident response activities and document findings for future reference.
  • Vulnerability Assessment: Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration tests to identify security weaknesses and recommend remediation strategies.
  • Threat Intelligence: Analyze and interpret threat intelligence data to anticipate potential security risks and enhance the organizations defenses.
  • Security Awareness: Collaborate with the IT team to develop and implement security awareness training programs for employees.
  • Compliance: Ensure that security measures comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in cybersecurity or a related field, with a focus on security monitoring and incident response.
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), or Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) are preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with security tools such as SIEM, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection platforms.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities with attention to detail and a proactive approach to security challenges.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex security issues to both technical and non-technical audiences.
