About the job Security Guard (Top Secret Clearance)
Our clients are seeking highly qualified Security Guards with Government of Canada Top Secret security clearance, or those eligible to obtain it, to join their teams. In this critical role, you will ensure the protection of sensitive information, personnel, and property. You will be responsible for monitoring surveillance systems, conducting regular patrols, managing access control, responding to alarms and emergencies, and providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and operate surveillance systems in high-security environments
- Conduct regular patrols of the premises, including secure and restricted areas
- Check identification and manage access control for classified areas
- Respond promptly to alarms and emergency situations
- Write detailed incident reports
- Provide assistance and customer service to clients and visitors, maintaining confidentiality at all times
Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Eligible to work in Canada
- Clean criminal record (background check required)
- Valid security guard license issued by the Ministry of the Solicitor General
- Completion of a 40-hour security guard training course from a recognized provider
- Valid first aid and CPR certification
- Successful completion of the Ontario Security Guard Test
- Possession of, or eligibility to obtain, a Government of Canada Top Secret security clearance
- Strong observational and communication skills
- Ability to remain calm and handle emergencies efficiently
- High level of integrity and commitment to confidentiality
Work Hours:
- Flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Both full-time and part-time positions available
Salary and Benefits:
- Hourly wage ranging from CAD 17 to CAD 25, based on experience and assignment
