Job Description: Description of activities and key responsibilities of the function

  • Fabricate and assemble steel moulds and other mechanical components according to technical drawings and specifications.

  • Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and engineering drawings to understand job requirements.

  • Take precise measurements and mark material for cutting and assembly.

  • Operate cutting, bending, welding, and other fabrication tools and machinery.

  • Inspect fabricated components for quality and accuracy, making adjustments as needed.

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all safety guidelines and protocols.

  • Collaborate with engineers, supervisors, and team members to resolve fabrication challenges and ensure timely project completion.

  • Perform maintenance and minor repairs on fabrication tools and equipment.

  • Collaborating with team members to complete projects.

  • Adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.

  • Performing routine maintenance on equipment and machinery. Perform basic work related to the job and area assigned which requires minimal training and skill level.

  • Use, supply, or hold materials or tools, in providing work assistance to assigned skilled workers.

  • Clean work areas, machines, or equipment, to maintain a clean and safe job site.

  • Report unsafe acts and conditions to your supervisor.

  • Do not carry out any task if you are not trained or authorized to do so.

  • Follow the HSE Management System procedures and safe working instructions.

Educational Qualifications & Certifications:

  • At least Primary-level finished

  • Safe welding operation (Certificate is Mandatory) & Understanding the drawings

Relevant experience

  • Proven experience as a Fabricator.

  • Strong understanding of engineering principles and manufacturing processes.

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Strong time management skills.

  • Physical stamina and strength.

  • Attention to detail.

  • Good communication skills.

  • 2 years minimum
