Job Description: Description of activities and key responsibilities of the function
- Applying sealants to various surfaces
- Maintaining equipment
- Preparing surfaces for application
- Cleaning up after each job

- Communicating with team members and supervisors
- Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard
- Handling heavy lifting tasks Follow strictly as discussed in the safety induction seminar for new workers like safety guidelines in the working area, working hours, break hours, company rules and regulations.
- Execute the daily task assigned by the site foreman for application of sealant base on target timings for the specific work task.
- Familiarize approved materials to be using for the application of sealant for finishing for the pre-cast erected in the project.
- Coordinate with the assigned foreman regarding any obstructions that may affect the target timing and do necessary actions if needed.
- Maintain a good quality of work for the application of sealant based on the approved methodology procedure.
- Handle efficiently any tools, materials, and equipment issued on the site.
- Responsible for returning any excess materials to the site store.
- Follow according to the instructions of the assigned foreman.
- Maintain good relationship with assigned foreman and site superior.
- Ensure your competent and skill-based certificates are valid and communicate with a supervisor if getting expire.
- Take reasonable care for the health and safety of himself/herself and others who may be affected by their acts or omissions.
- Cooperate with anything the employer does to comply with OHS requirements.
- Comply with HSE requirements communicated in HSE induction, Procedures, and policies.
- Lead as an example in front of workers by not violating any rules and correcting unsafe actions and conditions.
- Attend Group Safety Meetings, HSE Campaigns & committee meetings as and when required.
- Report unsafe acts and conditions to the HSE dept. using Intelex or booklets provided to you and monitor your targets and KPIs.
- Do not carry out any task if you are not trained or authorized to do so, and make sure the workers working under you are following the same.
- Participate in weekly or monthly HSE walkthroughs with your area HSE staff as per the plans.
Educational Qualifications & Certifications:
- Secondary level or primary level
Relevant experience
- Previous experience in a similar role
- High level of physical fitness
- Keen eye for detail
- Commitment to delivering high-quality work
- Ability to work in a variety of weather conditions
- Knowledge of safety regulations
- Ability to maintain equipment
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work within a team
