Draftsman - Civil

Responsibilities:

• Create detailed and accurate civil engineering drawings and plans using CAD software.
• Collaborate with civil engineers and project teams to understand project requirements and specifications.
• Prepare layouts, sections, and details for construction and design projects.
• Ensure that all drawings comply with relevant codes, standards, and company procedures.
• Review and revise drafts based on feedback from engineers and project managers.
• Maintain an organized filing and record-keeping system for all design documents and revisions.
• Assist in project documentation, including reports and presentations as needed.

Requirements

• Education: Diploma or degree in Drafting, Civil Engineering Technology, or a related field.
• Experience: 7+ years of experience as a Draftsman in civil engineering projects, preferably in the infrastructure sector.
• Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar) and Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, practices, and regulations.
• Attention to detail and the ability to produce high-quality work under tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
• Familiarity with local regulations and standards in Abu Dhabi is a plus.
