About the job Supervisor - Lifting
Responsibilities
- Preparation of Lifting plan and follow up of Risk assessment, lifting method etc.
- Makes sure lifting activities are done as per the lifting plan and with the same lifting gears.
Make sure lifting gears, cranes, riggers etc 3rd party certified and valid.
Supervise lifting activities.
Supervising offloading, loading & shifting activities.
Make sure material loaded on trucks is secured and safe to travel.
Make sure offloaded elements will be placed and secured.
Maintain logistics procedure rules.
Follow up on safe stocking procedure.
Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation.
Coordinate with other departments whenever needed.
- Take reasonable care for the health and safety of himself/herself and others who may be affected by their acts or omissions
- Cooperate with anything the employer does to comply with OHS requirements.
- Comply with HSE requirements communicated in HSE induction, Procedures, and policies.
Educational Qualifications & Certifications:
High School or Diploma
Certified in Lifting Supervision.
Years of experience
5 years
Language skills
Required: English
IT skills
MS Word, e-mail writing etc.
