About the job Supervisor - Lifting

Responsibilities

  • Preparation of Lifting plan and follow up of Risk assessment, lifting method etc.
  • Makes sure lifting activities are done as per the lifting plan and with the same lifting gears.
  • Make sure lifting gears, cranes, riggers etc 3rd party certified and valid. 

  • Supervise lifting activities.

  • Supervising offloading, loading & shifting activities.

  • Make sure material loaded on trucks is secured and safe to travel.

  • Make sure offloaded elements will be placed and secured.

  • Maintain logistics procedure rules.

  • Follow up on safe stocking procedure.

  • Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation.

  • Coordinate with other departments whenever needed.

  • Take reasonable care for the health and safety of himself/herself and others who may be affected by their acts or omissions
  • Cooperate with anything the employer does to comply with OHS requirements.
  • Comply with HSE requirements communicated in HSE induction, Procedures, and policies.

Educational Qualifications & Certifications:

  • High School or Diploma

  • Certified in Lifting Supervision.

Years of experience 

  •  5 years

Language skills

  • Required: English

IT skills

  • MS Word, e-mail writing etc.
