Job Description: Description of activities and key responsibilities of the function
Ensure optimal stock level by balancing the factory needs and purchasing activities, in addition to ensuring acceptable cost level and reducing deterioration to its minimum.
Ensure compliance with sourcing processes and contracts.
Responsible for coordinating purchasing operations from receiving material requisition to delivery to the store as per the requested specifications well and safely.
Provide support to the Senior Purchaser to ensure that all material requests are processed.
Receive and arrange material requests from all departments.
Responsible for insurance applications and renewal for the factory such as; machinery, vehicles & heavy equipment.
Petty cash document preparation and reporting.
Educational Qualifications & Certifications:
Bachelor’s degree in commerce or equivalent professional qualification.
