Job Description: Description of activities and key responsibilities of the function

  • Ensure optimal stock level by balancing the factory needs and purchasing activities, in addition to ensuring acceptable cost level and reducing deterioration to its minimum.

  • Ensure compliance with sourcing processes and contracts.

  • Responsible for coordinating purchasing operations from receiving material requisition to delivery to the store as per the requested specifications well and safely.

  • Provide support to the Senior Purchaser to ensure that all material requests are processed.

  • Receive and arrange material requests from all departments.

  • Responsible for insurance applications and renewal for the factory such as; machinery, vehicles & heavy equipment.

  • Petty cash document preparation and reporting.


Educational Qualifications & Certifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in commerce or equivalent professional qualification.


Years of experience 

  • 5 years of experience


Language skills

  • Required: English

  • MS Office
