Foreman - Finishing

Job Description : Description of activities and key responsibilities of the function

• Make sure tools and Raw materials are available for production.

• Schedule and Supervise the workers in the concerned area of operation.

• Make sure all personals are following the schedule and following quality system, Occupational health and safety,   procedures for industrial safety standard.

•  Maintain the drawings, Production plan and follow the work schedule as instructed by General Forman.

•  Inform general forman and coordinate with the maintenance department to conduct periodic maintenance.

•  Coordinate for daily attendance and requesting overtime for his concerned area of operation.

•  Maintain equipment and machinery under his supervision

•  Supervise the cleanness for the concerned section of operation.

• Comply with HSE requirements communicated in HSE induction.

• Attend Group Safety Meeting, Tool Box meetings and be familiar with the HSE requirements to follow while performing any activities.

• Report unsafe acts and conditions to HSE dept. using Intelex or booklets provided to you.

• Do not carry out any task if you are not trained or authorized to do.

• Ensure your competent and skill based certificates are valid and communicate with supervisor if getting expired All other job as assigned by the general Forman

Educational Qualifications & Certifications:

• Diploma in Industrial Engineering or Equivalent Qualification or Experience

Relevant experience

• Able to supervise personnel with different cultural backgrounds.

• Motivate and inspire colleagues to develop knowledge, skills and competencies. Provide objective and constructive feedback in an appropriate way.

• Take ownership of own objectives agreed upon and of the objectives of subordinates

• Stimulate a result-oriented organizational culture by regularly sharing the department's performance and results.

Function specific experience

• 6 Years of Experience in Production Environment.

Industry related experience 

• 3 years Precast Industry Experience
