Position summary: Process Engineer is responsible on overall monitoring and enhance various plant operations.

  • Provide plant operations with technical inputs and support, prepare different Heat & Material balance scenarios.
  • Evaluating plant process and evaluate changes proposed to design, taking environmental and economic aspects into account.
  • Working closely with process chemists and control engineers to ensure the plant is setup to provide maximum output levels and efficient operation of the facility.
  • Setting up scale-up and scale-down processes including appropriate changes to equipment design and configuration.
  • Evaluating design, installation, and commissioning new projects, including monitoring developments and troubleshooting.
  • Perform process simulations, assessing options for plant expansion or reconfiguration by developing and testing process simulation models.
  • Perform risk assessments, manage cost and time constraints, provide process documentation and operating instructions, develop best practices, routines and innovative solutions to improve production rates and quality of output.
  • Optimizing production by analysing processes; troubleshoot problems with manufacturing processes, evaluate equipment and processes to ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations, propose improved manufacturing processes and applying new technologies.


Knowledge, Experience & Skills Required:

An engineering degree from recognised institution.

10 years minimum year of experience.

Petrochemicals process familiarization. Specifically, Ethylene Cracker (EC), Propane Dehydrogenation (PDH), Utilities processes.

Strong command of business-level written and spoken English.

Analytical thinking and problem solving.
