Senior Engineer - QC

Job Description: Description of activities and key responsibilities of the function

• Responsible for the full implementation of quality control procedures and plans on all related activities.
• Responsible for initiation of continuous advancement of quality achievements and performance improvements throughout by monitoring quality of operations and providing recommendations.
• Develop, review and approves inspection, test plans and quality control plans.
•  Plans and coordinates QAQC activities, making certain of quality control of the work in accordance to specified standards.
• Responsible for planning duties and assigning of Quality Control personnel, assuring all inspection and testing schedules are attended.
• Coordinate inspection with Client Representative/Third party laboratory assuring all the HOLD point inspections are carried out and documented.
• Responsible for full implementation of Non Conformance Management.
• Maintain updated Company QHSE Plans, Procedures and Policies
• Monitor, Evaluate and Report Project Quality Performance and Progress.
• Assist other department on full implementation of QHSE Management System
• Take reasonable care for the health and safety of himself/herself and others who may be affected by their acts or omissions
• Cooperate with anything the employer does to comply with OHS requirements.
• Comply with HSE requirements communicated in HSE induction, Procedures, and policies.
• Lead as an example in front of workers by not violating any rules and correcting unsafe actions and conditions.
• Attend Group Safety Meetings, HSE Campaigns & committee meetings as and when required.
• Report unsafe acts and conditions to the HSE dept. using Intelex or booklets provided to you and monitor your targets and KPIs.
• Do not carry out any task if you are not trained or authorized to do so, and make sure the workers working under you are following the same.
• Participate in weekly or monthly HSE walkthroughs with your area HSE staff as per the plans.

Educational Qualifications & Certifications:

• Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering

Years of experience 

• 8-10 Years
