The Digital Copy Editor will be responsible for reviewing, editing, and optimizing digital content for various online channels, including websites, blogs, social media, and email campaigns. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Content Editing: Review and edit digital content for grammar, punctuation, style, and clarity, ensuring that it meets the company's quality standards
  • SEO Optimization: Optimize content for search engines, incorporating relevant keywords and ensuring adherence to SEO best practices to improve visibility and engagement
  • Brand Consistency: Ensure that all digital content aligns with the brand's voice, style, and messaging, maintaining consistency across all platforms
  • Fact-Checking: Verify the accuracy of information and sources used in digital content, ensuring credibility and trustworthiness
  • Collaboration: Work closely with writers, content creators, and marketing teams to provide constructive feedback and guidance during the content development process
  • Performance Analysis: Monitor and analyze content performance metrics, using insights to refine editing strategies and enhance future content quality

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in English, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 2+ years of experience in digital copy editing or content creation, preferably in a digital media or marketing environment
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills, with a keen attention to detail and a passion for high-quality content
  • Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and digital publishing tools
  • Strong understanding of SEO principles and digital marketing strategies
