About the job Product Manager
Job Purpose
As CloudEats continues to scale, we are looking for a (Platform) Product Manager to lead our in-house hero platform product, the backbone for our brands, partners, and internal teams. You will own product discovery and delivery end-to-end, turning ambiguous problems into clear bets, and shaping product strategy in partnership with the Head of Product and leadership. You will be accountable for driving meaningful improvements in user adoption, user satisfaction, and business outcomes such as Average Daily Order (ADO), Average Order Value (AOV), margins, and platform reliability.
This is an individual contributor (IC) role with high ownership and visibility, reporting directly to the Head of Product. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team across Design, Engineering, Finance, Commercial, and Kitchen Operations, using strong product, execution, and analytical sense to align stakeholders, make sound decisions, and ship products that matter.
Qualifications
Must have
- Experience: 3-4 years in product management, specifically with digital or platform products.
- Product sense: Demonstrated by the ability to make correct product decisions even amidst high ambiguity. This includes:
- High empathy to genuinely understand customer pain points while minimizing personal biases.
- Creativity in finding novel solutions for complex problems.
- Execution sense: Evidenced by experiences in aligning people towards a particular objective and orchestrating complex projects. This includes:
- Excellent project management skills.
- Excellent communication abilities, both via writing and listening/speaking.
- Scrum knowledge: Solid understanding of the Scrum framework (events, artifacts, etc.) and core Agile principles.
- API concept: Proficiency with API concepts.
- Figma familiarity: Experience working on projects involving Figma and defining customer journeys. Can evaluate design and suggest alternatives.
Should have
- Industry & role experience: Experience in Fintech and/or platform products gained at top-tier companies.
- Location & work setup: Candidates based in the Philippines are preferred. The default setting is WFH with an expectation to be in the office 1-2 times per month (Taguig, BGC office).
- 3rd party experience: Has hands-on experience building and operating platform products that integrate with multiple 3rd parties (e.g., food ordering aggregators like GrabFood/Foodpanda and payment gateways/e-wallets), including working with external APIs, SLAs, and vendor roadmaps.
- Data familiarity: Experience with data visualization and dashboard tools (e.g., PowerBI or similar).
- Education: A relevant bachelors degree (e.g., Computer Science, Information Technology, Statistics, etc.).
- Analytical sense: Evidenced by the ability to frame the right questions, evaluate multiple facets of a problem, derive solutions, and simulate possible outcomes.
- Technical knowledge: Knowledge of front-end (ReactJS, Native, Flutter), back-end (Java), and APIs.
Nice to have
- Product success track record: Managed at least one highly successful product.
- Finance comfort: Comfortable with finance and accounting concepts, either through prior experience or a strong willingness to learn.
