Job Purpose

The role will work directly under the Supply Planning Manager, where s/he will track inventories, anticipate demand, and closely collaborate with the Purchasing, Warehouse, and Commissary groups to ensure continuous supply across distribution channels at optimal cost, thereby maximizing sales opportunities. The role will be the champion in the planning process, from end-to-end, in close coordination with various functions for Demand Forecasting, Supply Inventory Planning, Sourcing, and Production. S/He must be able to analyze data and processes, find solutions, and effectively communicate with all stakeholders.

Main Duties

Analyze Historical and Current Inventory Trends

  • Review historical and current inventory movements to identify patterns, discrepancies, and areas for improvement.
  • Analyze inventory turnover rates and identify slow-moving or obsolete items for appropriate action.
  • Use insights from historical data to optimize stocking levels, reduce carrying costs, and develop strategies.
  • Regularly review inventory levels and reorder points.
  • Take proactive measures to prevent stockouts or excess stock situations.
  • Implement data-driven adjustments based on demand fluctuations and market trends.

Improve Overall Supply Availability

  • Effectively lead the Supply Team on its day-to-day operations; and
  • Monitor supply levels and address operational issues affecting supply.
  • Lead the operations team in creating distribution plans to ensure timely replenishment to meet customer demand.

Optimize Supply Planning Processes

  • Continuously assess and refine supply planning processes for increased efficiency.
  • Implement best practices to streamline workflow and reduce lead time in the supply chain.

Other duties and tasks may be assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field
  • Preferably with at least 1 year of experience in Supply Planning or a similar role
  • Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other relevant planning tools
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work in a fast-paced environment

Work Setup:

  • 5 days onsite in BGC Office
  • Monday to Friday
