About the job Treasury Officer
Job Purpose
Involves in managing an organization's financial resources, ensuring efficient cash flow, and implementing strategies to optimize financial performance.
This role will be reporting directly to the Finance Manager for Accounts Receivable and Treasury.
Main Duties
Cash Management
- Monitor and manage daily cash balances to ensure there is sufficient liquidity.
- Forecast cash flow and make recommendations to ensure the organization's financial stability.
- Provide and implement strategies to maximize interest income on surplus funds and minimize interest expense on borrowings.
Banking Relations
- Support and establish and maintain relationships with banks and financial institutions.
- Support in negotiating banking services, fees, and terms to ensure cost-effectiveness.
- Monitor bank performance and recommend changes when necessary.
Risk Management
- Identify and assess financial risks, including interest rate risk and foreign exchange risk.
- Develop and implement strategies to mitigate these risks.
- Stay informed about market trends and economic conditions that may impact the organization's financial position.
Investment Management:
- Support and assist the finance manager in the organization's investment portfolio to optimize returns within acceptable risk parameters.
- Research and provide insights in making investment recommendations based on market conditions and the organization's risk tolerance.
Financial Reporting:
- Prepare and analyze financial reports related to cash flow, liquidity, and treasury activities.
- Provide financial information to internal and external stakeholders.
Compliance and Regulation:
- Prepare and analyze financial reports related to cash flow, liquidity, and treasury activities.
- Provide financial information to internal and external stakeholders.
