Responsibilities
Employee Relations:
- Serve as a point of contact for CloudEats employees, addressing their concerns, and providing guidance on labor-related matters.
- Act as a liaison between management and employees to foster effective communication and resolve workplace conflicts.
- Conduct investigations into employee grievances and complaints, ensuring prompt and fair resolution.
Labor Compliance:
- Stay updated with labor laws, regulations, and industry best practices, ensuring compliance in all aspects of employee relations.
- Provide guidance and support to management and HR teams on labor laws, policies, and procedures.
- Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures that comply with labor laws and promote fair employment practices.
- Collaborate with external legal counsel, when necessary, to address complex labor-related issues.
Documentation and Reporting
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to labor relations activities, grievances, collective bargaining agreements, and other relevant information.
- Prepare reports on labor relations metrics and trends, identifying areas of improvement and recommending appropriate actions.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Labor Relations, or a related field.
- At least 1-2 years of experience in labor relations, employee relations, or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of labor laws, regulations, and employment practices.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with employees, management, and labor unions.
- Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate complex labor-related issues.
- Proven negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
- Experience in conducting investigations and managing employee grievances.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and HRIS systems.
- Certification in labor relations or a related field is a plus.
