Purchasing Intern

Purchasing Department | 3–6 months | Paid Internship

We’re a fast-growing food & beverage start-up looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Purchasing Intern to support our procurement operations. This role offers hands-on exposure to end-to-end purchasing processes, with a focus on packaging materials and non-trade items (office supplies, equipment, services).

Key Responsibilities

  • Create, issue, and track Purchase Orders (POs)

  • Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely and complete deliveries

  • Collaborate with Operations, Logistics, Production, and Marketing teams

  • Assist in inventory monitoring, record-keeping, and supplier coordination

  • Support process improvement and automation initiatives

  • Provide general administrative support to the Purchasing team


Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, Supply Chain, Procurement, Industrial Engineering, Agriculture, or related field

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Proficient in MS Office / Google Workspace (Excel/Sheets preferred)

  • Good communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

  • Interest in automation or process improvement is a plus
