Purchasing Intern
Purchasing Department | 3–6 months | Paid Internship
We’re a fast-growing food & beverage start-up looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Purchasing Intern to support our procurement operations. This role offers hands-on exposure to end-to-end purchasing processes, with a focus on packaging materials and non-trade items (office supplies, equipment, services).
Key Responsibilities
Create, issue, and track Purchase Orders (POs)
Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely and complete deliveries
Collaborate with Operations, Logistics, Production, and Marketing teams
Assist in inventory monitoring, record-keeping, and supplier coordination
Support process improvement and automation initiatives
Provide general administrative support to the Purchasing team
Qualifications
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, Supply Chain, Procurement, Industrial Engineering, Agriculture, or related field
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Proficient in MS Office / Google Workspace (Excel/Sheets preferred)
Good communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Interest in automation or process improvement is a plus
