Our client is a multinational company with over 60 years of history, well-known and recognized in the collectibles market. The company distributes in over 20 global markets, both through subscriptions and retail channels such as kiosks and bookstores.

Role:

The Junior Product Manager is responsible for maximizing the profitability of new and existing products within the South Europe market, with a specific focus on P&L management and marketing strategies. This role involves overseeing both retail and subscription channels for assigned product collections, including media planning and promotional activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Launch Decision Support: Conduct market analysis (including competitor insights and trend forecasting) and perform P&L assessments to evaluate the economic viability of product collections and sales channels within the South Europe region.
  • Marketing Mix Definition: Develop and execute comprehensive marketing plans covering product descriptions, pricing strategies, promotional initiatives, and advertising (including creative aspects and media selection across channels and countries).
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with various internal teams, including Editorial, Product and Strategic Marketing, D2C, Media and Communication, Procurement and Supply Chain, Sales Forecast & Distribution, and Legal, to ensure alignment and drive successful product launches.
  • Product Performance Monitoring: Track product performance post-launch, analyzing sales data to adjust retention strategies as necessary. Implement initiatives to mitigate retention loss, such as offering incentives for subscription continuity and adapting product sequences.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Degree in Economic or Business Management or a related field.
  • Experience: 1 year of proven experience in product management, with a strong focus on P&L management and market analysis.
  • Skills:
  • High proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.
  • Excellent analytical skills and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven negotiation skills and an ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.

We offer: a fixed-term contract of 1 year.
