The Role
The Supply Chain Director will take ownership of both warehouse management and replenishment for Spain and Portugal, playing a critical role in the buildout and optimization of logistics infrastructure in the region. The split of responsibilities is roughly 40% warehouse operations / 60% replenishment and reordering.
Key Responsibilities
Warehouse Management
- Oversee day-to-day operations at the Madrid warehouse, which will also serve as the logistics hub for Portugal
- Manage the relationship with the third-party logistics provider
- Ensure efficient goods flow, storage standards, and inventory accuracy
- Lead, motivate, and develop a team of 5–7 people
Replenishment & Inventory
- Design and implement replenishment processes and systems across the Iberian market
- Monitor and optimize stock levels, rotation, and availability across the product range
- Define reordering policies in alignment with business targets and sales trends
- Drive continuous improvement in forecasting and demand planning
Transportation
- Oversee transport coordination for inbound and outbound flows in Spain and Portugal
- Manage carrier relationships and ensure cost-effective, reliable delivery performance
Cross-functional & Strategic
- Partner with the Corporate Supply Chain team and local management to align on standards and best practices
- Build the foundations for a scalable supply chain capable of supporting future growth in the Iberian region
- Support the future integration of the Portuguese warehouse operations
Candidate Profile
Must-have:
- Proven experience in supply chain management, ideally within retail, GDO, or multibrand environments
- Solid background in both warehouse operations and inventory/replenishment management
- Experience managing third-party logistics providers (3PL)
- Strong analytical mindset with hands-on approach to implementation
- Fluent in Spanish and Portuguese (required)
- Willingness to be based in Madrid
- Comfortable working in a structured, results-driven international environment
