Accounts Officer
Job Description:
Since starting in Perth in 2012, CMW Geosciences has expanded to 22 offices with over 300 employees across Australia and New Zealand. We are a hard-working, down-to-earth, and passionate group of professionals who provide quality geotechnical site investigation, analysis, and design advice to the construction, infrastructure, and energy sectors.
About the role
CMW has maintained year-on-year growth since its establishment in 2012, and the Perth office is seeking a full-time Accounts Officer. Primarily, this role supports the Western Australian region. The role is varied and would suit someone with a strong background in accounts/bookkeeping who is happy to get stuck in and help out wherever required to keep the office running smoothly. Outside of accounts, you'll also be involved with general, project-related and administrative tasks for the Perth Office.
Responsibilities
- Timely processing of monthly accounts and reporting
- Debt Collection
- Monthly reconciliations
- Effective maintenance and administration of a range of office systems such as the Health & Safety System and Quality System in conjunction with the Office Manager
- General HR responsibilities
- Tender and pre-qualification support
- Adhoc administrative duties and backup for Project Management Assistant as required
Qualification/Experience
- Previous experience working within a professional services office environment.
- 5 + years experience with accounts and invoicing
- Relevant qualification in administration, bookkeeping, business or similar.
- MYOB experience preferred
